Hello Wikipedians! I created this article for a Turkish writer and political expert with a wide coverage of reliable sources. Any help to properly format the references would be much appreciated. If there are any issues with the article itself, please try to edit constructively and discuss it on here rather than delete information. Cheers! Article is now ready and meets all Wikipedia standards! I have received explicit permission to use [this photo] for the article's sidebar and will soon be filing a COM:OTRS request to be allowed to upload it on Wikimedia Commons. Politika92 (talk) 19:56, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Politika92! This is really good first article from you. Is there any particular reason you decided to create this? Remember that Wikipedia should never be used to promote anything you are personally connected with. That said, I think this looks really good and I look forward to seeing what other articles you create. Thanks again!Monopoly31121993 (talk) 18:50, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Monopoly31121993, that means a lot! For many years, Wikipedia code looked like some sort of alien language to me, so I thought I'd try something new and give it a go. Glad it worked out. As you can probably tell, I'm quite passionate about EU politics, and especially so with regards to secularism. Ever since the Gezi Park protests last year, its been a very contentious issue in Turkish elections. My next article will most likely be on the Turkish Social Democratic Party's representative to the EU. I feel like there are many prominent Turkish figures and organisations who don't get much representation around here, and Wikipedia's Turkish version has pretty appalling standards!
