Kinegram has very poor sourcing and it is not clear it satisfies WP:GNG. Since there is already a section on Kinegram in Barrier-grid animation and stereography I suggest a merge of any useful content there. Polyamorph (talk) 12:30, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NO. The Kinegrams discussed in Barrier-grid animation and stereography are a different thing from the ones discussed at Kinegram. The latter do not appear to be based on barrier-grid animation. WP:NOTDICT: different things that share the same name are covered in separate articles.--Srleffler (talk) 02:39, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I proposed the merge as an alternative to deletion. If the merge proposal fails then this will potentially go to WP:AFD or redirect to an alternative target (such as DOVID) because the subject as it stands does not appear to satisfy WP:GNG. Polyamorph (talk) 09:24, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Whether the alternative is deletion or something else, this content cannot be merged here.--Srleffler (talk) 16:10, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
A better place to merge it to might be Leonhard Kurz, the company that makes it.--Srleffler (talk) 16:11, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. Polyamorph (talk) 16:50, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

We have now added further sources to the entry in order to clarify the "general notability" of Kinegrams. Perhaps in this discussion it is also of interest that there has been a corresponding entry in the German version of Wikipedia for many years. In my opinion, this also suggests that the topic is relevant for an encyclopedia. --InaJac (talk) 09:00, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
