Seems like the link to Harmonic Mixing is broken - it should point to Since I am affiliated with tagtraum industries, I figure somebody else may want to fix this.

Also, I'd like to suggest phrasing the entry a little bit differently. Currently it's:

"The current version supports Harmonic Mixing and Beatmixing."

It really should be something like:

"The current version supports Harmonic Mixing through automatic key detection and Beatmixing through BPM detection."

Reason: beaTunes is not a mixing tool, it merely calculates data (key/bpm) that help DJs when mixing.

If one wanted to expand this article one could categorize beaTunes as a music library management tool. It does multiple things:

- cleanup music meta data (typos, wrong genre, etc.) - lookup music meta data (using acoustic fingerprint technology) - compute music meta data (key, BPM) - find songs that match in multiple meta data categories and thus assists when building playlists.

I am available for more information, if desired.

Unorphan me![edit]

I am glad somebody fixed that broken link to harmonic mixing. Thanks!

Since hardly any links point towards this article, I'd like to suggest that the link on that currently goes to the beaTunes website, should now go to this page. Also it would probably not be a bad idea to add links to the harmonic mixing and the beatmixing pages.
