Poverty line in India[edit]

Should we have something defining what India describes as poverty, as I don't see anything like that. According to this article [2], poverty by the world bank is an average among the poorest countries, while India does it on how much money is required to get the ideal intake of food, shelter, and other necessities. Deavenger (talk) 01:31, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is about the Indian definition of poverty. The latest is 17 marks, any one with 17 marks or less living in rural areas is poor. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 04:20, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Education assignment: Introduction to Policy Analysis[edit]

Empty or Missing URL[edit]

It looks like there might be an empty or missing URL link or citation after the sentence "Going into a survey due for a decade, India's central government is undecided on criteria to identify families below poverty line". If this is not a mistake, please ignore. LoanKLe (talk) 06:26, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

References 4 link cant be reached.[edit]

Is the link after the "Archived copy" the actual PDF for the citation? The link does not work and so if that is the same document maybe the link should not be used anymore, since it is redundant. LoanKLe (talk) 06:42, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to example of misuse of BPL Schemes[edit]

Misspelling of Aadhaar.

Additionally, add in a context that is that Aadhaar is used to be able to link a person's voter id and other documents through a unique 12 digit identification number. LoanKLe (talk) 07:18, 25 April 2022 (UTC) [1][reply]

Intro -> "Going into a survey due for a decade". Is that still relevant? The last survey conducted mentioned was in 2002.[edit]
