"Thrash" pilot testing[edit]

The EPA factsheet includes the phrase "thrash pilot testing", which I've never heard of professionally. A recent IP edit here removed the word "thrash" to leave "pilot testing" and thus avoid confusion. An internet search reveals that most results returned for that exact phrase "thrash pilot testing" have the exact same wording as the factsheet. Is this a meaningless phrase that this WP article should avoid using, or does it actually mean something specific? Wikiwayman (talk) 12:52, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
