Untitled[edit]

It's also available at the World of Coca-Cola in Las Vegas. On the second floor at the soda fountain, you can purchase a world sampler (not sure of the actual name), which contains maybe a half-dozen drinks in small plastic cups, one of them being Beverly. It might not always be available, but it has been the last few times I went.

The stuff basically tastes like a solvent you'd use to treat wood floors. Very vile. Jkonrath 22:28, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

this drink is gross!!

Leave it to the french to take liquid clove and turn it into drink. Poor Coca Cola must have been forced to make this swill!- TLAGT —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.140.22.70 (talk) 23:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wish there was actually some more information about this aside from the biased complaints of samplers. blergh (talk) 17:42, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

R0arx: Basically imagine carbonated Nyquil. I tried it at Walt Disney World and promptly declared that this was the happiest place on earth *except* in my mouth. 204.60.84.2 (talk) 16:19, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Flavouring[edit]

There needs to be a reference for what Beverly is flavoured with. "Sources within the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, GA state that the drink's distinct flavor comes from the rind of a grapefruit" doesn't quite cut it. Also I don't believe it tastes like citrus rind, from my experience with the soft drink it's the flavour of quinine (much like indian tonic water). I like tonic water so I don't think it's all that bad. Edwin s (talk) 15:55, 18 May 2008 (UTC) Well I came across an AJC article that mentions the use of quinine in Beverly so I'll put that in the article. Edwin s (talk) 16:01, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does it actually exist?[edit]

Most people in Italy have never heard of this drink... the only place it's found is the three American locations mentioned in the article

http://web.archive.org/web/20091008193202/http://www.coca-colaitalia.it/Products.aspx?brandid=22 describes it, but that page seems to have been removed in late 2009 so I assume it has been discontinued. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.125.122.49 (talk) 16:46, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I think the first line of the article should be changed to something like "made by the Coca-Cola company, which claims it is a product sold in Italy". MrItty (talk) 15:33, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
