I think this article still relies too much on references from the creator of big writing; Ros Wilson and needs more independent sources. NtheP (talk) 20:30, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Added more external references. To be honest every point is covered in the references provided, as that's where I got my information from. There are more (non affiliated) references if you'd like me to add them but they aren't addressing anything not all ready covered. JamieaaWroe (talk) 13:34, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
My concern is that there are no independent peer reviews of this technique cited. The only sources are either Ros Wilson or testimonial from schools using the system. There isn't anything from an academic/educational side that reviews Big Writing as a system and evaluates it as good, bad or indifferent or even explains the concepts in it. I appreciate your point, however not all the sources are from Ros or testimonials, Some are LEA's. Although I agree that none are academic journals, or reviews, which is why I have not said big writing is ineffective/effective. I have only described the methodology of the system. This article reads like it is written by a close friend of Ros Wilson, specifically the use of her first name. Pfbray (talk) 17:31, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
