I find the title of this article questionable. As far as I can find, the ride is never called anything but "Vogel Rok" on the park's literature, including on the English version of their in-park map (which I have in my possession). I'd like to see a citation that it has an "official English name." Because even if it were to be rendered in English, this doesn't seem like the right translation. "Roc Bird" is probably more sensible, particularly since "Roc" and not "Rok" is the usual English spelling of that creature's name. As it is, the name just seems half-translated and awkward. - agreed, do you volunteer to change these instances of wrong translation? I would suggest translating it as Roc (bird perhaps not even necessary), English, since all the rides have been translated. Magafuzula (talk) 10:33, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop translating "Rok" to "Skirt" here[edit]

I'm native Dutch. The Efteling ride has nothing to do with a skirt. It is an alternate spelling Efteling selected for the mythical bird Roc, as explained on the Wiki about the Efteling "Eftelpedia": https://www.eftepedia.nl/lemma/Vogel_Rok The Dutch Wikipedia entry of the Roc bird even has a picture of the Vogel Rok ride exterior which clearly shows the Roc bird. https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roc_(mythisch_wezen) Hyper (talk) 04:11, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
