Blue stain fungus ≠ Grosmannia clavigera[edit]

"Blue stain fungi" is a vague term defined by the symptoms the fungi cause - blue stain. Grosmannia clavigera can be included it this group but it also includes Ophiostoma spp and Ceratocystis spp which can be seen in some of the cited sources. As a result, the article states it's about Grosmannia clavigera but includes information about other fungi presented as if it is about G.clavigera. This misinformation has spread even to Wiki Commons and the title photo is described as "Grosmannia clavigera" because someone thought it is the same as "Blue stain fungus" despite the source of the photo not even mentioning this species.

I've created a separate page for general Blue stain fungi and moving there the general information. I'm also removing specific information about species different from Grosmannia clavigera. And finally, i'm renaming this article to Grosmannia clavigera which does not have a common name. --Exonie 14:30, 8 July 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Exonie (talkcontribs)
