Merge into cornrows[edit]

This hairstyle has been worn by black girls in the UK for years. It's simply a more complex form of the traditional braided cornrows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Osama57 (talkcontribs) 23:01, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use of the word 'predominantly[edit]

I'm with Eminem on the use of the word "predominantly." It's a loaded word that makes me throw up in my mouth a little. "Predominantly" is predominantly used in reference to Black/African American people. It sounds pretentious, even antagonistic or objectifying, and doesn't add much that isn't conveyed by simpler words. ~ I'm commenting here instead of editing because I'd rather someone involved with the page make the change.
