This article should be expanded to discuss the types of circuits, but I don't expect it to be a huge article - bigger than a stub though of course. I will try to provide pictures tonight. Pulmonological (talk) 23:38, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

- Comment it's not the only thing so called. The respiratory system is also [1], as are oxygen canisters on planes [2], ventilators [3], respirators [4], CPAP, etc -- 65.94.42.18 (talk) 05:08, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose: "Breathing circuit" seems just as common and "breathing system" has other referents. --Woofboy (talk) 03:28, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
