Removed links[edit]

I've removed a lot of links to other pages, per WP:CONTEXT, but my eyes Started to spin. There are a lot of red links, and some that will probably never be fullfilled, eg Silas Whipp, see Bredbury#Local People Edward McLellan. Mr Stephen 12:34, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Lots needs to go in History of Bredbury. Some of the places of interest either have articles or need them creating with only succinct summaries left on this page. The article is just too long at the moment, the detail is lost in the text. MRSC • Talk 08:28, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Population[edit]

The 2001 census population shown is for Bredbury Ward, not the village of Bredbury. The ward has since ceased to exist, being superceded by Bredbury and Woodley ward. The former ward included only part (about two-thirds) of the village, along with the whole of the village of Woodley. Skinsmoke 18:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
