its leaving out details[edit]

this town may have been founded originally by the greeks but after many years of warfare it became depopulated and brundisium was made a colony of Rome in 244 BC. this artical is leaving out that it was made a colony of rome in 244 BC. nearby Tarentum however wasnt made a colony till 122 BC. but not all settlements in classical italy were rebuilt some were never rebuilt and were left as ruins. so i beilve when places were being made roman colonies in italy to be very significant.
