The Bristol Blackhawks were a very important if small part of the existing American Football culture in Bristol, they dont exist anymore and more than likely never will , but the founder Phil Cook was fundamental in the creation or spark of american football in Bristol in the late 80s and early nineties. I expect a lot of people who visit the current Bristol football pages who are mature will remember him fondly, or otherwise he literally pulled no punches, but remember him they will. This stub is in memory of him and his early work in Bristol Football, i added it to the Bristol Packers stub as they named the Blackhawks and he was the Blackhawks. I will shortly when emails are returned list events and scores of our short existence.

I am holding the stub til more information arrives.

There is absolutely nothing on the article that mentions that the Bristol Blackhawks were an American Football team. Please see our notability guidelines; the article must pass the criteria to be included – multiple verifiable (i.e. a source with authority) third party, reliable sources generally do the trick.
