Merge proposal[edit]

I have added merge tags proposing that the article Berryfields be merged with this article which has recently been named from Weedon Hill. Both original articles described the early stages of housng developments on adjacent sites which have now progressed to the point that the neighbourhood name of Buckingham Park has been formally adopted.Tmol42 (talk) 21:16, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OpposeAccording to OS Boundary Line data and various sources on the internet including Buckingham Park Parish Council it looks like Berryfields is in Quarrendon parish and that only Weedon Hill has been "renamed" into Buckingham Park. Is this proposed merge maybe a bit premature? --Csmale (talk) 20:36, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Buckingham Park and Berryfields are two seperate intities and therefore merging thier entries would be incorrect. They are seperate communities, seperate parishes, different wards for both Aylesbury Vale and District Council and County Council. The current Buckingham Park wikipage has a significant number of errors on it which, as a Chair of the Parish Council, I will seek to update ASAP. Suffice to say references to Berryfields on a Buckingham Park page are misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.126.3.51 (talk) 15:47, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose This is now irrelevant as Berryfields became a Civil Parish in it's own right in May 2015 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Garethlane (talkcontribs) 20:36, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be no consensus for a merger. Proposed merger tags removed 8 February 2016. Eagleash (talk) 10:03, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Strong oppose Its now a CP in its own right, see WP:GEOLAND. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:46, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
