Celpe-Bras background[edit]

Americans have but small reputation for their facility with other languages, and few appreciate the importance of the TOEFL--Test of English as a Foreign Language--to people from other countries enrolling in U.S. universities and colleges. Celpe-Bras is a Brazilian counterpart to the TOEFL, yet is only offered at two universities in the USA as I write.

The repaired link to the Ministry of Ed. website also gives access to the test results over the past several years, plus a wealth of additional information on the exams. translator (talk) 16:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
