Henty 1922 - Eleanor Glencross[edit]

Glencross is currently listed as an independent; I am changing this to Liberal, both here and on the Henty results page. 10 Nov "She would have stood for election as a progressive Liberal, but she wanted to be free to vote for any measure for the good of women, even if introduced by the Labour party." 18 Nov "Mrs. Glencross, who had been regarded as an independent, announced last night that she would stand as a Liberal, having accepted the platform of the Liberal Union, with modification of that part of the policy relating to the maternity bonus." 18 Dec Results list her as Liberal.
