Cleanup[edit]

I took a stab at cleanup, creating some sections, removing obvious subjective/emotional information to make it sound more like an encyclopedia article, removing duplicate information, organizing information, adding/updating links, and so on. This is very far from a complete cleanup, but I think its current incarnation is far better than the way it was before. It just still has a long way to go yet. Just noticed the changes Ganesha1 made--very helpful cleanup and organization. I mainly just added a couple links, and made the headings, formatting, and section order more consistent w/ other articles (though the history difference tool makes it look like I changed a LOT). Electricity[edit]

corrected article to second city in India (must be third in Asia). Tokyo has got public electricity supply in 1886, Darjeeling in 1897 (from Sidrapong), KGF from Shivasamudra (1902). Bangalorius (talk) 10:10, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

History issues[edit]
