Evenly spaced[edit]

What does it mean when it says that the station was 'more evenly spaced' ? Maybe I'm being dense but I'm finding it hard to understand, rgds Johnmarkh

Reading it i think it means that the distance between stations along the route, say, between Bank and Tottenham Court Road (or probably further) were of equidistance. Simply south 20:26, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Closed Sundays?[edit]

A TfL Tube map I have in my possession publised in 2006 says that Chancery Lane station is closed on Sundays. Can somebody confirm if this is still the case? If it is, it might be noteworthy enough to put in the article. --TripleThree (talk) 15:04, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's OK, I just found this [1] which indicates that Chancery Lane is indeed open on Sundays. So I'm wondering - why was the station closed on Sundays? --TripleThree (talk) 13:25, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It used to be closed because the area in which it is located is almost entirely offices. There are hardly any residents and with offices and shops closed on Sunday's the demand was minimal. The area is now busier at the weekend and so the station remains open. --DavidCane (talk) 00:50, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Island Platform?[edit]
