Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe ancestry.com along with births and marriages records meet Wikipedia's policy. Though it is helpful information to use, I don't think we can include it. Meatsgains (talk) 20:06, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is true that ancestry.com information should be used with caution. The information must be correlated with the various sources in the website. Birth information must correlate with marriage and death information and all of these with the census information. If this is done thoroughly and conscientiously enough then Ancestry.com information is true and reliable. Also, its information is labyrinthine and considerable effort and patience is required to find the information one seeks. Careless users may be misled if they do not dig deep enough. In my opinion, the truth matters more than mere policy which may be subject to prejudice in its interpretation. (Grandpescator (talk) 17:48, 27 February 2014 (UTC))[reply]

I may add that I use the library edition of ancestry.com which is freely available in public libraries, especially those with family history units.(Grandpescator (talk) 13:06, 3 March 2014 (UTC))[reply]

I have now revised this article and have hopefully eliminated the material that may be construed as being 'original research'. (Grandpescator (talk) 13:55, 28 February 2014 (UTC))[reply]
