She could not have been the "Dauphine of France", the Salic Law prevented females from inheriting the throne since 1316. She was thus a Princess of France, not a Dauphine. The only women entitled to bear that name were the wives of the Dauphin. Gonzalo Velasco. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 23:23, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Doesn't make sense - how can she be the lesbian lover of her parents? - at least according to here. Peter Shearan 06:51, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Plus, she was eight years old when she died, so it's unlikely she was the lesbian lover of anybody. I'm reverting to the initial entry. Elizabeyth 17:26, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Okay, now I'm thinking the original was saying she was born anywhere between 1516 and 1524, and I found another Charlotte de Valois supposedly born in 1461. So who knows. I'm reverting to the original entry and leaving the verification tag up. Elizabeyth 17:34, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
