Rename to Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply without the ampersand. No need for either article or ampersand. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:20, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Support. WP:THE clearly says don't have the The, while MOS:& clearly says do have the &. IMO the guidelines are not entirely consistent but there seems no reason not to follow them in this case. Note that neither is a case of adopting an official name but rather that the official use of the name is an example of usage, which is all the respective guidelines require.
