While rewrite is underway, it is not complete, and I have blanked the article to prevent our continued publication of this material until it is or until permission is verified.
For examples of continuing problematic text, consider the passage beginning, "Because of the various backgrounds...." and "The members are descended from...." The former example is more straightforward copying, while the latter constitutes an unusably close paraphrase. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:03, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Neutrality[edit]

A major contributor to this article is User:meeksje who states above that he is James Everett Meeks, Vice-Chief of the Chikamaka Band. As such he has an obvious conflict of interest. And much of the article is currently cited to the Chikamaka Band official web site, which obviously also will not be a neutral source, and should be balanced by the use of sources with different points of view. Several possible sources are listed in the Further reading section, but have not yet been consulted for this article.

The contents of this article should be checked against a variety of sources, to remove any possible bias and ensure as much accuracy and adherence to the neutral point of view as possible. DES (talk) 18:12, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
