Uncited reference[edit]

From the "Chromated copper arsenate (CCA)" section:

However some consumer outlets such as Home Depot were still reported to be selling CCA lumber long after the ban went into effect.

This should probably be cited; I've deleted it in the meantime.

From the "Limitations of Human Exposure" section:

However, in response to the pressures at the time, the wood preservation industry in the USA and Canada volunteered not to use CCA for the treatment of residential timber.

The sentence after this one only supports that the USA is not using the chemical anymore. A Canadian government source citation should be provided. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antiartist (talkcontribs) 18:09, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Chemical composition[edit]

Would be nice if someone who knew what it actually consists of could add that info.Lindorm (talk) 02:50, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Excessive emphasis on "safety"[edit]

The article overemphasises the alleged safety of the product, almost in every paragraph. Those multiple reassurances should be trimmed and collected in a single sub-section under "Safety". --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 03:31, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
