Misspelling of her last name[edit]

I'm sorry, but you guys are spelling her last name wrong, it's Barreto, with only one t. Ask her yourself, that's how she spells it, my cousin works for ABS-CBN and is her friend so I'm sure of it. But it's ok because even the people at ABS-CBN misspell it, but it should be only one t.

1)There is no proof of what you say. 2) 'She' may prefer one t but that doesn't change here real name. 3) Her name is all over the internet and so easy to check. 4) Her sisters are equally famous and thus easy to reference for her name.--Jondel (talk) 15:11, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't include http://goodtimesmanila.com/2009/03/06/official-titles-of-piolo-juday-claudine-marian-dingdong-etc-released/ as one of her awards since the site is a joke blog. Anything in the blog in not true as confessed by the blog owner him/herself. The blog has a disclaimer at the side of the page. Libellious Case in Claudine Barretto's page[edit]

Please delete "She dubbed as "The Optimum Teleserye Queen"" in Claudine Barretto's page since it has been superseeded by the title given to Judy Ann Santos which is Face of Soap Opera & Queen of Teleserye. Malicious Page-Claudine Barretto' page[edit]

Claudine Barretto's page is always being edited by her fans as viewed in the history contributor "Claudinians" is always inserting poorly sourced and sometimes libelous info/tags in the page. Some of the parts of the page are also redundancy of the other parts. Plus the description: Claudine Margaret Castelo Barretto-Santiago (born July 20, 1979), popularly known as Claudine Barretto is an award winning and multi-nominated film and television actress and product endorser in the Philippines; is just patterened to Judy Ann Santos's page. Please do necessary actions on this.

Claudine Barretto's Filmography[edit]

It looks like that the Notes & Awards indicated in the aforementioned part are already mentioned in the earlier part of the page under "Film & Television Career. It's already not necessary to include that part (Notes & Awards) or may just delete the first part. It seems that it was just included to have it appeared enormously embellished. It was previously reported that this page is being edited biasedly by her fans w/ username "Claudinians" making the page a fansite rather that an encyclopedic entry. @ Claudinian, I don't understand your way of editing. You have been told time, and time again that you cannot simply revert massive amounts of info, and delete sentences, without giving any reasoning towards doing so. It's getting to the point of extreme irritability. You are showcasing signs of WP:DE. You were given a notice on the WP:ANI, and you still did not change your ways. You refuse to discuss anything with anyone, and instead continue doing your own editing, with exact knowledge that it may jeopardize this article. Unless you begin to change the way you edit, and enagage in open discussions with users, I will be forced to contact an administrator, once again, and see if they can help with this situation. In "Film and Television Career" it is stated that the first film of Claudine Barretto from Seiko Film are Kumusta Ka, Aking Mahal?, Taong Gubat, Pulis Patola and Kung Sakali Man but these movies are not indicated in Claudine Barretto's Filmography that's why I included the movies in her filmography.

Barreto's first three films under Seiko were Kumusta Ka, Aking Mahal?, Taong Gubat and Pulis Patola. She was paired with newcomer Emil Benedicto. She also did Kung Sakali Man. Although an exclusive Seiko contract star before, she was still allowed to accept two assignments with Star Cinema, Home Along Da Riles (The Movie) and May Minamahal.

Based on the Philippine Television, Claudine Barretto is hailed as the Optimum Star, how come it is not indicated in her article?

She was never hailed as such. And no distinction whatsoever has been laid out indicating that she is a so called Optimum Star. This is just a fan-based titular provision and not acclaimed by any media of any sort (unlike titles such as Superstar, Star of All Seasons, Diamond Star, Megastar, Young Superstar). Again until you place a reference or citation indicating the confirm title of such, this will remain as is. Please provide appropriate article citing the title and relevant details. But until then, do not revert or alter anything. This article is not a fan article, this is encyclopedic. You are writing on a fan's POV which is loosely based on opinions and idolatry. This article as it stands has been plagued and vandalized with unsourced and fancruft edits with alarming concerns as outlined:

  • The tone and style does not in any way reflect WP:MOS
  • The neutrality of this article is disputed
