To my knowledge, Cussler has not appeared/'held' any book signings since mid-to-late 2016. At one of the last ones I attended in late 2015 / early 2016, it seemed/appeared to me that he had a little difficulty 'getting with the flow' at the start of the book signing session, but seemed to improve at time passed.
'Normally,' when a new book comes out, a local (Scottsdale, AZ) bookstore holds a signing/release 'party', but it hasn't held one in over a year and there have been at least three books released.
Though he's not a spring chicken, I'm curious if there might be a medical reason why he has not made any public appearances in over a year.
