Resolved issues[edit]

I don't know if anyone realizes this but this is a duplicate article. There is also a page for Albertson College, which is the same college, and contains much of the same information. One of the articles should be deleted and the information provided on each page should be amalgamated.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Amanda1655 (talkcontribs) 14:40, 26 January 2007

I have added merge tags on both pages. Also, the Albertson College article has some copyvio issues. Kathy A. 18:10, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Note that this thread refers to the extant pages prior to the college's name change, and appears to have been fully resolved as of today.Byronshock 00:50, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Should this page be "The College of Idaho" or, consistent with other entries in Wikipedia, "College of Idaho"? Consistency seems better, but for a while today, I went with "The College of Idaho". Byronshock 00:46, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia guidelines state that the page name should start with an article only if the article is capitalized in running text. Since the article can even be dropped in running text, I don't believe this is the case.Byronshock 01:04, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

POV issues[edit]

I believe this article reads a little too much like the College's own PR literature. What can be done to make it more encyclopedic?

Why isn't Conner Shinn apart of the notable alumni list? He far outranks Butch Otter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.21.206.23 (talk) 06:12, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error[edit]

The coordinates need the following fixes:

  • Latitude: 43.654559
  • Longitude: -116.675772

College Seal/Picture Needed[edit]

I'm not great with image policy, so does anyone else know how to add the college's seal and/or a few pictures to this page to make it look less dreary? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Etherealgirl 24 (talkcontribs) 04:12, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clear Bias[edit]

I feel that this article about the College is clearly biased and was probably written in hopes of mildly promoting the colleges enrollment. All of the references listed at the bottom of the page site the colleges website. I take issue with this because all of the details listed at the College of Idaho website are geared towards making their college look as good as possible. The article would be more interesting and useful if it contained some of the college's history, college traditions, more details about why the notable faculty or alumni are notable, and more information that doesn't come directly from the college's PR department.

A lot of the professors have outstanding backgrounds in their preferred fields and bring awesome perspectives to class from their personal experiences. NEMO LEGEND (talk) 18:03, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What makes these faculty "noteworthy"?[edit]

While I can understand the inclusion of award-winning faculty members, what makes Howard Berger or Steven Maughan more or less noteworthy than other faculty? This list is presented without any explanation or citation and includes a seemingly arbitrary selection of faculty. I question the need for this list even to exist on this page, but even disregarding that the contents included in it need to be expanded upon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.145.132.222 (talk) 04:12, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics and Data out of date[edit]

A lot of the information on this page is out of date and could do with several edits. Lots of the sentences are wordy and have to many statistic, making it hard to read and understand. The page could also do with more pictures to show what the college is like. TherealHarv (talk) 20:06, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
