Is the French or Catalan name the COMMONNAME?

[edit]

This article has been moved from its French name to its Catalan name by a newly registered user who so far seems only to edit Catalonia-related articles. Per WP:COMMONNAME, I would guess that the French name of a commune in France would take precedence over a Catalan name, unless there is convincing evidence that the Catalan name is more commonly used in English-speaking reliable sources. There has been no discussion about this move... so certainly no consensus. I have tried reverting but maybe you can't revert a page move? TeapotgeorgeTalk 14:59, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
