"The Cordillera de la Costa Central is a range of mountains in Venezuela, which run east to west along the country's northern coast, south of the capital city, Caracas. They are also known as the Central Range" This is a false statement, Caracas sits ONTO the Central Portion of the Coastal Range, it does not lie at the north of it. I have edited the above statement. The Coastal Range is divided into two big regions: the central portion and the oriental massif. The central portion is divided into two parallel running 'sub' ranges. The inner range (Cordillera del Interior) runs west-east south of Valencia lake to the south of River Tuy's Valley. The littoral range (Cordillera del Litoral) runs north of Valencia lake, and then, just before reaching Caracas it is divided into two shorter ranges: The Ávila to the north, and a minor set of hills to the south. The Valley comprised between these later ranges is ocuppied by the city of Caracas. I am not sure that "Cordillera de la Costa Central" deserves an article to itself. It would be better to use the information I put above and start a newer article simply about Venezuela's Coastal Range.
