Man, whatever happened to hanging people for treason?
---> Well its hardly treason to state facts. Also treason in the United States is the act of betraying the Constitution not any particular person or ideal. It carries the death sentance, but people commit treason every day and get away with it. Its treasonous to have anti-gun laws, but they exist. Its treasonous to tax someones personal income yet we have the IRS, its treasonous for the president to declare a war without the consent of congress, but several presidents have.
