Needs a lot of help[edit]

This article needs a lot of help. I pared it down a bit and tried re-writing some of the awkward language but it's still a mess. The citations being used are rather obscure and some don't seem to even be valid references at this point. It also seems to be suffering from buzzword over-use, but over-use in a way that doesn't even fit the context. I'll try and return and improve things if I can.

Sociological Meaning[edit]

A lot of people use "corporate identity" to mean the way individuals self-identify with a group. After a little googling, it seems that Wikipedia lists this as "social identity theory." Would it be a good idea to add one of those notes that say something like "if you're looking for the [sociological? corporatist?] meaning, see Social_identity_theory"?
