Talk:County of La Marche

This page is in error. Almodis of La Marche had married Roger le Poitevin sometime around 1086. Their children, Aldebert IV, Boso IV, and Odo II would rule La Marche. It was a Montgomery count, not a Lusignan count that sold La Marche and its 3 castles to King Henry II in 1177.

John would grant Hugh IX de Lusignan the county in 1200. The only connection being that his ancestor, Hugh V had married a sister of the count. Dragon1
