This edit suggests that XT3s can be configured with Quad-Core Opterons. Isn't this only an option with XT4 or XT5 PEs? I think we have to be careful here not to confuse the XT3 with the very similar later systems. XT3s can of course be upgraded to XT4/5 standard, but don't they then cease to be XT3s? - You may be right -- the Nov 2008 top500 lists Red Storm as being XT3/XT4. I'll find confirmation if the quad-core upgrade makes the nodes into XT4. Autopilot (talk) 14:21, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
