This article[edit]

This article needs a lot of work. I've expanded some, but we need referencing, a critical response section, social impact/legacy (or such), musical style/rationale section and vast expansions of the singles section and inclusion of Music Videos in that section also. We also need to create articles for all of the singles from the album. Start class[edit]

I have re-classed the article as a start class article, simply because the only "reference/note" is [1], which just features screenshots of the DVD menu. If adequate references were found, it would easily pass C-class and possibly B-class. Adabow (talk) 08:57, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Track listing[edit]

There are some unreferenced statements with regards to the track listing that don't agree with my recollections of having bought the album and first few singles on vinyl in 1986. "I Walk Away" was on the original NZ vinyl release. This can be verified by anyone who has access to 1980s issues of the New Zealand Listener - the original release was reviewed by Chris Knox while he was writing for that magazine, and who found it disappointing compared to Finn's previous band. "I Walk Away", as a song originally recorded and released by that band, was singled out as having been "carefully de-popped, leaving just another soft-rock song to happily ignore" (text from memory not exact). It was "Can't Carry On" that was originally left off the vinyl release - that song, in the same way as "Recurring Dream", had originally been a non-LP B-side.
