Surprise[edit]

Significance[edit]

Maybe it's just me, but Curtis Mathes seems like a very significant American corporation and is worthy of a more substantial article. I have a heavy Curtis Matches TV manufactured in somewhere in the 1980's or early 90's. I have lost the owners manual and unable to program the program the tuner. Johahnleba (talk) 05:13, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

video rentals[edit]

Perhaps it was just in Eugene, Oregon but back when VCRs were brand new the only place you could rent videos was Curtis Mathes. They carried both VHS and Beta. Curtis Mathes the man[edit]

Why is there no wikipedia entry for Curtis Mathes. He was a household name in the 70s and 80s appearing in his own televsion commercials. "The most expensive televion in America, and darn worth it." Company beginnings[edit]
