the bulge you speak of is actually the extruded nasal septum. usually it is "blown" out of the left nostril. i believe it's usually red in color. kind of gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "blow your nose". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.8.139.86 (talk) 20:08, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
