Too Much Like "Promo" Article[edit]
As a teenager I was a fan of Dan Ingram, BUT...this article is near to a hagiography. I just eliminated peacock language, and if someone doesn't document the quotes in a week or two, they're going the way of the Dodo Bird...and other PR fluff @ Wikipedia. Place of Birth[edit]
For a long time Oceanside NY was listed as the place of birth. Recently two anon IPs changed it, first to Brooklyn, then to Rockville Center. The only book I found that mentioned a birthplace stated that it was Oceanside. I corrected it and added the reference. Amsgearing (talk) 21:45, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

As references are made to his son Chris' DJ career (under the Name section), I feel this is a notable inclusion to the article. - Completed in part. I added spouses and children to the Infobox, sourced to The New York Times. However, I could not include the claim that Ingram's daughter Christina is a noted DJ in her own right, performing under the name DJ Empress, because the source submitted by Blockofjoy is an exact republication of a post by the Daily Mail. Wikipedia consensus has determined that since the Daily Mail is generally unreliable, its use as a reference is to be generally prohibited, and it should not be used as a source in an article. I interpret that to likewise prohibit citing an exact copy of a post by the Daily Mail. KalHolmann (talk) 00:33, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
