Is Chinese dance not a distinct thing?[edit]

I'm not optimistic that I will get a response, but I wonder if anyone familiar with this page can explain why it doesn't seem to exist. Chinese dance does not seem to me an ambiguous term. There are a plethora of dances from China, including numerous folk dances, lion and dragon dances and the like. But as I understand it, Chinese dance is also quite a comprehensive and distinct art form in and of itself. I lack expertise in this field, but I'm considering delving into this; it seems a terrible shame that there is so little here on the topic.Homunculus (duihua) 07:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
