Daniel Torres' birth place[edit]

Murgh has changed the author's birth place in the profile box from Teresa de Cofrentes, Valencia to just Valencia. It is true that some sources declare that he was born in Valencia (capital), but more reliable sources state that he was born in Teresa de Cofrentes (or Teresa de Cofrents, the Valencian form), a town located in the province of Valencia. Check this link (in Spanish) or biographies like the one that appear in the last Spanish edition of Opium.

I didn't change anything, the article text still elaborates on the POB detail, but in keeping the infobox consise (always an aim) I adhered to the source (that provided me with the date of birth, [1] (in Italian)) and simply left it at the attributed, wikifiable fact. For all I knew, Teresa de Cofrents is a suburb or borough of Valencia and not everything needs to be put to the smallest detail or stated twice, eh? So, do you assert that this is significantly far from Valencia proper and a full-fledged town in its own right? MURGH disc. 19:57, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's curious because I couldn't find any Spanish source refering to Daniel Torres' birth date. I have found only two sites including this information: the Italian link you have posted and another one in German [2] (in German). About the birth place, Teresa de Confrentes is a town, not a suburb nor a borough of Valencia; it is located in the province of Valencia (the city and the province share names) and while Valencia is situated in the coast, Teresa de Cofrentes is in the opposite inland provincial border. Check the town council's web page. [3] (in Spanish) 84.125.22.159
Seems distinct enough to me. I hadn't checked, but a WParticle does exist (nearly anyway) for the township. Now what Spanish comics needs is an extensive online comics resource for publication details so the significant history doesn't blow away. It's a shame I constantly have to turn to French resources..
