Tabla[edit]

It appears Tabla will be closing. http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2010/09/30/with-tablas-closure-danny-meyer-tastes-first-defeat/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.56.64.138 (talk) 14:29, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Importance[edit]

Danny Meyer is arguably the pre-eminent NYC restauranteur, and as such, deserves a page. 700+ hits alone on Google with +"Danny Meyer" +restauranteur.--Diogenes00 01:33, 8 June 2006 (UTC) (forgot to sign earlier)

I agree with Diogenes00. As a (somewhat unscientific) test, I instantly recognized the name and thought "oh, the guy who runs the Shake Shack." So I'd say he's pretty well-known. Or, to use another unscientific test, he's appeared in the New York Times more than once. I'll watch to see if others disagree, but unless someone objects, I'm going to de-flag this article. --TheOtherBob 02:53, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
