"...Tweaked Mega Man 5 Engine"[edit]

I removed this sentence. It was originally put in, unsourced, in 2006 by an IP. It sat, unsourced, for 13 years, until a source was finally added in 2019. Two things:

The source was a Darkwing Dark fanblog. Which is great, but it doesn't meet reliable sourcing requirements for Wikipedia.
The exact phrasing of the source is "The game uses the same engine as Capcom’s Megaman series[...]", and never mentions Mega man 5 specifically.

Combined, that's enough for me to remove it. I get the feeling the original addition is responsible for people in gaming circles claiming this fact, but I can't prove that. Emptyeye2112 (talk) 23:31, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
