Untitled[edit]

He gained notoriety as a graffiti artist. This is important and should be discussed.

So you guys deleted a page by Dimitrios, but this artist you gonna leave in? This guy is not known enough and should be cancelled under the wiki "notoriety" clause

I think he may be the same "Dash" that is listed as a graffiti legend in the video game Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. I am not quite certain enough to put it on the main page, though. Mujokan 12:58, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fact and Fiction[edit]

this page is a stub at best. most of the information is directly from the new york magazine article. his legend is huge but it's unclear what's fact and fiction and a lot of basic things about him can't really be substantiated. also, irak and graffiti, etc need to be mentioned. --66.108.113.147 18:52, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please draw attention to any published inconsistencies that would shed doubt on specific details of his biography.Warrenking (talk) 16:39, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Snow is a FICTION. His personae in and of itself is the work of two NY based artists. He does not exist, nor has he ever existed, nor shall he ever exist.

  • Interesting accusation but in Wikipedia we need evidence from reliable sources. Please find published sources stating which artists invented Dash.Warrenking (talk) 16:39, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Research should be done and this thread cut off from further edits due to the proclivities of the artists in question to falsify information.

This is not true, I grew up with Dash and can confirm his existance.

You cannot depend on original research. Just because you claim you know him personally is not enough. So far I have found no conclusive evidence that Dash Snow existed and so I think this page should be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.229.170.192 (talk) 01:53, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Boarding School and Cause of Death[edit]

His work is quiet wellknown even here on the other side of the Atlantic, but the word is that his death was due to PTSD caused by a stay at a boarding school in Georgia where he was sent by his parents due to his choice of living on the streets. Not a that uncommom among the former alumnis. In fact a high number of the students have died before time. Why is his stay at the boarding school not mentioned in this article? OscarPetterson (talk) 10:31, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm interested in your comment because the cause of death has been questioned to some extent. Cause of death is often unclear in cases of overdoses. It would be great if you could find some reliable sources that state this information about the boarding school. It may be helpful to readers to have some background on the boarding school he attended. The main reason why anything isn't mentioned in any article is because wikipedia needs people to make the edits. Please help contribute to wikipedia by adding information you find useful yourself.Warrenking (talk) 16:34, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
