Term[edit]

Crawford was elected in 1692 to serve out an existing term that began in 1691 for New Kent County after King and Queen County had been split from it and the sitting representatives went to that county. McIlwaine, H. R. Ed., Journals of the House of Burgesses of Virginia 1659/60–1693, Richmond, VA: Colonial Press, E. Waddey Co., 1915. OCLC 6389173. Retrieved February 11, 2014. pp. 18, 380. Therefore, he was elected for only one year, not two. His name does not appear on any list of burgesses that I have found for any year except 1692. I will revise the text and cite the Journal of the House of Burgesses. Donner60 (talk) 11:13, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
