In fact, the film says it was a Charles Grady who went mad from cabin fever in 1970. Delbert Grady may be from the 1920s. -- Beardo 08:36, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

You could be right about Delbert Grady being from the 1920s. While Grady is cleaning Torrance's jacket in the wash room, Torrance confronts Grady about what he has done to his family - something Grady claims to have no memory of. Having said this, though, Grady then famously goes on to tell Torrance that he "corrected" them all.
