The U.S. Census claims in that 2005-2007 report which is directly cited in the article that Staten Island is 34.8% Italian-American. In the 2000 Census, it was claimed to be 37.7%. Please do not use incorrect bloated statistics. TomNyj0127 (talk) 21:54, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am also going to list the 2008 Census estimate rather than the 2005 one. TomNyj0127 (talk) 21:58, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I also revised the statement saying Staten Island's Jewish population is relatively small compared to the area. The area is ~9-10% Jewish as opposed to about 7% in Staten Island. That'd be less. However, it isn't relatively small. Relatively small would be more like 3-4%. TomNyj0127 (talk) 22:01, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding info[edit]

I'll also be adding Middle Eastern to European too since they are demographically recorded as white. Arab comes up as 1.9% on the 2007 survey which is the same as English. TomNyj0127 (talk) 16:12, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hispanic/Black/Asian population[edit]

There is a website called socialexplorer.com which shows the information on the specific breakdown of the Hispanic population (but you have to pay for the data unless you use a computer at a university). There is also this website: http://www.zip-codes.com/zip-code/10303/zip-code-10303-2010-census.asp

It does it by zip code, and for the most part, roughly half of the Hispanics are Puerto Rican, except 10302 (which covers Port Richmond and a small part of Westerleigh), where roughly half the Hispanics are Mexican. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Checkmatechamp137 (talkcontribs) 16:59, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
