I believe that the DOS is notable as a DIY, all-ages, not-for-profit community space in the Northwest. Many large underground bands play there on tour, and it has received press coverage (which I believe covers the notability requirement for organizations). Here are a couple links to some articles, which should also be incorporated into the article.
