This article is currently poorly written and reads like a promotion for Design-build. It is also incorrect as it confuses Design-bid-tender with Owner multiple tenders or, possibly, construction management. I will try to improve in days to come, but additional help would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime I will fix the intro Mariokempes 22:35, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How about Change Orders? one reason owners are willing to try Design-Build (or anything else) to avoid them, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.62.6.34 (talk) 23:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article is very North America-centric[edit]

The article takes as fact that Design-Bid-Build is the "Traditional Method" which may be true in North America, but is not so in much of the rest of the world. And in fact, this method of project delivery is not that old, even in the U.S. I would like to see a history of bidding included in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ldstables (talkcontribs) 16:44, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Design-Bid-Build was the technique used by the Romans, and most likely before that time as well. Design Build was started about 150 years ago.Frmorrison (talk) 17:26, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
