International airdates[edit]

Ireland will be able to see the show at the same time as the UK as Ireland also has Channel 4 and E4. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 13:39, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

I have included information about expected airdates in America, Canada in the UK, with refs for them.

Also removed repetitive information about whether Nicollette and James will return etc.

One year ago there was Rosanne Bar listed as a new housewive. Now ists Beyoncé Knowles. -- (talk) 12:11, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Beyoncé as Charisma[edit]

Look, I don't know if Beyoncé will join the cast of "Desperate Housewives" or not, but Charisma Lovell is just a made up character from a forum on [1], she is a character made up by me who could be played by Beyoncé in our ficticious fifth season. It was just a forum game, not actual info. Don't post here that she will be playing Charisma Lovell, that's a role I made up. -- Renaboss 13:24, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for letting us know that. Skeletal_S.L.J.C.O.A.A.A.T.R. (talk) 22:44, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Untill a credible source gves confirmation on ANY character, i'm removing that entire section as it's not cited at all. Sorry for any inconveinance.  Skeletal S.L.J.C.O.A.A.A.T.R.  16:42, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Danielle Katz?[edit]

What´s that edit thing mentioning Danielle van de Kamp as "Danielle Katz" including her son Benjamin Katz and the unknown guy named Leo Katz about? There are no sources for that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 10:10, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Actually, there is a source for it, Desperate for Desperate Housewives, although it's unconfirmed and it is way too soon to post specific information on it. But Andrea Bowen will be guest starring this season, it has already been confirmed by executive producers Bob Daily and Sabrina Wind in an interview, shown here on spoilertv. -- Renaboss (talk), 20:18, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

If there's a reliable source, please cite it. Skeletal S.L.J.C.O.A.A.A.T.R. 19:20, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Cast for season five[edit]

It has already been anounced that Maynard, Benjamin, Celia and Juanita will be recurring stars next season, and not regular stars, which is why we should list them as notable guest stars, instead of "also stars", which is a secondary category for some regular castmembers, and not recurring. And since we still don't know who will portray those roles, we shouldn't list them as TBA. Also, it hasn't been confirmed wether Joy Lauren will return as Danielle Van De Kamp, or Katz, it's just a rumour, and also, we know that she won't be returning as a series regular, so if she will be back it won't be as an "also star", but as a guest star, so let's bill her like that. Renaboss (talk) 23:28, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

someone wrote that Jayden Spears (Britney Spears's second son) will be Maynard Delfino. unless someone magazine, Yahoo article, or Marc Cherry has confirmed this...well...just make sure it's confirmed!!! <333 --Adrianneramsey 11:52 pm, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

I already took care of it. --HELLØ ŦHERE 06:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
By which you mean you deleted it or gave references? -- Renaboss (talk) 09:35, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
I had deleted the section and I see you deleted them from the cast, but I question why you deleted sourced infor that Edie was returning? --HELLØ ŦHERE 09:37, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I'm sorry about that, it was just the beginning of the text that bugged, I shouldn't had deleted the source, I'm sorry. It just went in the beginning "the six lead actresses will return" and then it said "However, Dana Delany confirmed Edie will be returning", which was already explicit in the beginning, I should had just deleted the "however", that was stupid on me, sorry. -- Renaboss (talk) 00:09, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Desperate Housewives Season 5[edit]

I think this page should be redirected to Desperate Housewives Season 5, because its name is Desperate Housewives (season 5). On Wikipedia, the words between parenthesis always express the categories of the pages, to differ them between other things with the same names. And this page makes it seem that Desperate Housewives should be filed under the category "season five", like Desperate Housewives is a season five thing. Maybe I'm not making myself very clear, let's see, if you see the page for Paul Young, you'll know that it's name is Paul Young (Desperate Housewives), because there is a singer named Paul Young, so we are stating that this Paul Young is this show's character, not a real-life person. Paul Young is a Desperate Housewives character. This is just an example. So, as it is, this page makes it seem that Desperate Housewives (a TV series), is a "season five" show. That's why I think we should redirect it to Desperate Housewives Season 5, instead of it redirecting here. Thank you. -- Renaboss (talk) 20:46, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

I believe this policy says otherwise. --JpGrB 20:58, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
And actually the other seasons should be changed back accordingly. If they're not changed by this time tomorrow, I will do it myself. --JpGrB 06:06, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Here's an idea...[edit]

  • Now that the show is set in the future (i.e 2013), any events depicted did not happen yet. So for the epiosde synopsis ... we might have to write something like ... "Susan will break up with Mike" ... you know?

--Cokeandpoprocks (talk) 14:37, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I don't agree with that...-- Renaboss (talk) 00:03, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Not Reliable Sources[edit]

I'm not being funny but how is another wiki site a source ??
Someone has wrote in the cast list the return of many characters but no reliable source
They have just put another wiki site
That is just like making something up writing it on a free space and calling it a source.
That's not reliable.
Am i not right.
-- (talk) 21:56, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I actually agree. --HELLØ
ŦHERE 00:53, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I also don't understand how a Tripod site is a reliable source. Someone should take a look at this. --HELLØ ŦHERE 09:45, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Britney's Kids[edit]

Someone included Britney Spears's two sons in the list of "also stars" for season five, playing Maynard Delfino and Benjamin Hodge, and gave no source. I removed them, because to me that sounds idiotic, they're way too young, I searched it and found no source, and Marc probably wouldn't go for a pop divas's kids playing characters in his show. Also, I'll be removing the Solis kids from the "also stars" list, because it has been stated that they will be recurring stars, not regulars. -- Renaboss (talk) 09:34, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

There's alot of unsourced info here. So, I'm removing bits of it. If you'd like to place it back in, be sure to cite it! Skeletal S.L.J.C.O.A.A.A.T.R. Soul 21:35, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

There's a lot of info in the opening and not many sub-sections, and since a lot of the opening is about it's debut across the globe, should we have a section for this to shorten the opening? Just a thought. --HELLØ ŦHERE 03:19, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

I tried to fix the page up a little bit. --HELLØ ŦHERE 03:07, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Brees story[edit]

Ummm, this video says that Bree Hodge becomes a chef or a star and Bree and Kathrine have opened up a catering buisness. Something like that in season 5. [2] --BatterWow (talk) 09:38, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

It'll take a lot of work, and I can do it, but I don't wanna work on it alone, but the refs need cleaning. It's just the URL's, no brackets, or brackets but no ref names. If someone would like to help me with them, please leave a message or or on my talk page. --HELLØ ŦHERE 23:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

UK broadcast ending early?[edit]

There are adverts on in the UK at the moment that say the next episode ('A vision's just a vision') is the last of the series, but the schedule of upcoming US episodes says otherwise. Does anyone know what's going on? They stopped Series 4 half way through and started it again months later because of that writer's strike, but why would they need to do that this time? It sucks, anyway... (talk) 21:00, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

I can answer my own question, apparently in the US tv series have a month long break over Christmas and because this year the UK episodes are running at the same time as the US ones, we'll have to have a month long break as well- which is previously unheard of on UK tv. Oh well! (talk) 22:22, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

"Mirror, Mirror" and "What More Do I Need?"[edit]

Out of the aired episodes of "Desperate Housewives", these two are the only ones without pages. Why is that? And why is no one creating pages for them? - Renaboss (talk) 09:37, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Death of Edie??[edit]

Wow, I would just like to "thank" the person who wrote that section for RUINING the rest of the season for me. Like, what the hell is with that line with Edie dying? Is that necessary? Remove it until the episode with the death aires!!! This is an encyclopedia, not a spoiler site!

((Speaking of this, your little 'comment' pretty much ruined it for me. I tried to edit this to make it not so spoiler-ish. Thanks)) -- (talk) 22:19, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Don't you dare change my comment and erase my signature! You have no right! How did I spoil it for you? What, you came to the talk page without reading the article? This in not a forum, it's a page to talk the quality of the article. Now, I still thing that little piece of info should be either erased, or put a "spoiler" tag within the section. -- (talk) 13:27, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
