Poor Article[edit]
The line that states "This action is similar to that of the cylinder in an internal combustion engine." is a highly unsuitable comparison for a diaphragm pump. This quote would probably be quite fitting for a piston pump, but does not help to accurately convey the operation of a diaphragm pump. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.210.141.175 (talk) 21:26, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Copy/paste[edit]
The mini diaphram section was added on November 26, 2010. The next day User:Velella removed the link to the pump manufacturer, but not the rest of the section. Today I noticed what seemed to be copied from the manufacturer, and I attempted to undo, but my action had no effect, and was not logged. Next, I tagged the page. Now I must step back, because I don't quite know what I am doing. Wikfr (talk) 21:38, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Double Diaphragm Pump page?[edit]
Would you allow me to develop a Double Diaphragm Pump page to Wikipedia? I there already is a Diaphragm Pump page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaphragm_pump.
How does Wikipedia make the determination when to add a secondary, more focused page on a product technology?
Double diaphragm pumps are widely recognized in the pump world...by the Hydraulic Institute, for example.
