Since When is Dipper Dan a Japanese Chain?[edit]

There used to be Dipper Dan ice cream shops in the Atlanta Metro area (and other parts of the Southeastern US) in the 1970s. I haven't been to Atlanta in 20 years, so I don't know if they are still there. Shemp Howard, Jr. (talk) 21:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I used to work at a Dipper Dan in Winter Park, FL in 1965-66. Jim H.

+ Dipper Dan in the United States was a chain of ice cream shoppes franchised by Swift Premium (the meat packing company) and the dairy and ice cream supplies for each store had to be purchased from Swift Premium.
